Today we welcome the Business Applications Academic Community (BAAC) to the Microsoft Learn for Educators (MSLE) program. Over the last 10+ years the BAAC has helped educators around the world integrate Microsoft Business Applications – Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform – into their curriculum. With the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimating there will be more than 6 million job openings in cloud-based technology by the end of this year, teaching and learning programs must innovate to keep pace with the evolving needs of educators and the skills students require for future success in the workforce. This move reflects the ongoing evolution of higher educational skilling and the next step in Microsoft’s continued support for the more than 1,100 educational establishments presently part of BAAC.
Microsoft Learn for Educators provides higher education institutions and faculty with a suite of comprehensive tools and resources to enable innovative, experiential technical skills education that augment students’ existing degree paths with industry-recognized certifications. Available in over 85 countries, MSLE has supported over 4,500 educators with the training, technology, and tools to prepare their students for future careers.
By joining the MSLE program, members can expect:
- Official Microsoft curriculum and teaching materials, including educator preparation and teaching guides with access to full, self-paced online learning paths and modules via Microsoft Learn, and discounted practice exams and vouchers for Microsoft Certification exams.
- Course delivery support with materials and assistance for educators seeking to incorporate Microsoft training materials and content into their curricula, as well as guidance on how to develop formative and summative assessments for students.
- Certification resources for educators and students, such as access to foundational and advanced role-based knowledge of Microsoft cloud and Business Application services, and discounts and vouchers for Microsoft Certification exams.
Beginning today we encourage all BAAC educators interested in integrating Business Applications into their curriculum to learn about MSLE and the benefits of the program. For existing BAAC members, there will be a transition period to aid in the move to MSLE – the current BAAC program will continue to be available from June 2022 for 12 months. Existing BAAC members should go here to sign up for MSLE, you will need to indicate in the MSLE application form in the additional information field as “Active BAAC members” and your application will be reviewed and expedited by MSLE onboarding team.
The MSLE program is excited to welcome the BAAC members as we come together and work on the next step in the evolution of our higher education network, putting educators and students value at the center of our continued educational investment. Visit Microsoft Learn for Educators for more information about the program, what you can expect, and to sign up.
