Reimagining the certifications for Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management functional consultants
We’ve heard your feedback about the evolving roles and careers of supply chain functional consultants. These professionals begin with the knowledge of supply chain management concepts and business processes. As they grow, they acquire an understanding of manufacturing concepts, along with the ability to configure and implement advanced features of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. To align with the reality of this role, we’ve reimagined our certifications.
- We’ve updated the Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate certification and one of its required exams, Exam MB-330: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant. To earn this associate certification, pass Exam MB-300: Microsoft Dynamics 365: Core Finance and Operations and Exam MB-330.
- Plus, we’ve developed the new Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Expert certification, along with its required Exam MB-335: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Expert (beta). To achieve this expert certification, earn the Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate certification and pass the new Exam MB-335 (beta). - On June 30, 2023, to streamline your certification path, we’re retiring the Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Functional Consultant Associate certification and its required Exam MB-320: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing. We moved some of the relevant skills measured by this certification to the Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate certification and some to the new Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Expert certification.

A. If you’ve been preparing for Exam MB-320, be sure to pass the exam on or before June 30, 2023. If you pass Exam MB-300 and Exam MB-320 on or before June 30, 2023, you’ll earn the Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Functional Consultant Associate certification, and it will be active for one year.
If you just started your preparation for Exam MB-320, we recommend that you instead consider earning the new Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Expert certification by first earning the Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate certification and then passing Exam MB-335. Review the skills measured on Exam MB-335.

A. If you’ve already earned the Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Functional Consultant Associate certification, it will stay on your transcript.

A. Learners with an active Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Functional Consultant Associate certification can renew it for one year (one last time) up to six months after its retirement date of June 30, 2023. The renewal window ends on December 31, 2023.
